Argh, those things are fucking expensive... A friend of mine wanted one for her birthday, but they cost over 200 bucks a pop in Brazil. Had to tell her there are cheaper ways to get chicks.

Holy fucking Christ. It’s up there with the high end market...
I had to settle with an Australian unit for a cheaper rate - mostly because I have my eye on an opened Lucina as well so I can use that one instead of opening a box and being hunted by millions of amiibo collectors.

Amiibo collector or fan of the character/game? I’ve never looked into this stuff before buy we apparently have a bunch of rare amiibos, including Marth. One of my wife’s friends works at gamestop and pre-orders and buys some of the limited edition ones for us as random gifts.

Yup. Gaming has always been expensive here in Brazil, specially now that the economy went from bad to worse. For example, my last console was the Gamecube, not because I couldn’t afford the Wii or a PS3, but because I couldn’t justify doing so. Now that the current gen systems are going for over 3 thousand bucks, I can neither justify nor afford them
